As a young woman, Carine Wang moved away from family in Singapore to attend Parsons School of Design (Project Runway). She had a rare natural talent to understand what women want and need. She understands not just design but also how styles should fit on a woman's body.
Carine's dreams were delayed with family and another business. After she sold that business, her itch for fashion became more apparent. She started working and learning from other stores and boutiques - mopping floors, selling, and taking any job possible in the industry. Finally, the economy was starting to recover in 2002 and a mall wanted to take a risk on Carine's dreams to open her first store.
Almost 20 years later Carine has expanded to four stores in the Valley. Her design dreams came to fruition and the Carine brand has exploded to be featured in over 500 stores in the United States and Canada.
Carine is still working hard at continually making fashion accessible for all women. This past season she has designed over 120 styles. She understands that women's tastes are always unique, but every woman wants clothes that look incredible but are easy to take care of.
In her Arizona stores, Carine Wang loves to combine classic good taste with a contemporary look and feel. Carine is an experienced international buyer of designer styles, and you can have confidence that she will work with you to coordinate and design your image. Carine is also a skilled master tailor and seamstress who can personalize your wardrobe to perfection.
Carine has three stores in the Scottsdale area: in Old Town Scottsdale on 5th Avenue and at the Pima Plaza center on 1st Avenue, and also further north at the popular SHOPS at Gainey Village. Due to her Scottsdale stores' popularity Carine has now opened a new location in the East Valley in Village Square at Dana Park in the Mesa/Gilbert area.
